Last week David Horn brought you up to speed on all of the changes at Baldwin REALTORS®. Hopefully, you've had time to read and digest all that information and now you're ready for the Mobile updates!

Like Baldwin, Mobile is growing and changing. Bellator brokers and agents are active members of everything from the Board of Directors to Education Committee to Governmental Affairs. It is an exciting time to be part of everything fresh and new. There are so many classes being planned & offered that I can't list them all here! There is a renewed energy at the Board on both sides of the Bay. In Mobile, you can still join a committee and commit to participate as we build for today and for our future.

FMLS has brought with it the ability for MAAR to provide members with tools that are proving to be a true benefit to agents who are using them. In this case, size definitely matters.

As to MLS statuses, Mobile has had "Active Under Contract" for some time. David explained that one thoroughly last week. Nothing else has changed about status.

The Mobile Purchase Agreement was updated a couple years ago and is still in use. If you use the Baldwin REALTORS Purchase Agreement, delete the old one and begin immediately to use the one dated 5/8/2023. It is updated and easy to understand. Thanks to our amazing admin staff, you'll find the updated version is already in your Dotloop files.

Because of our recent partnership with Tangilla, we have a new portal that allows us, with a single click to navigate to lots of services a little more efficiently. You can add subscriptions, pull your own Letter of Good Standing and so much more. I encourage you to click around and get familiar with what's there. It's worth your time.

Soon we'll have a data share agreement through FMLS and Stellar MLS for Birmingham, Huntsville and East Alabama.

Our MAAR building renovations are full steam ahead and soon we'll have a beautifully updated space that can be rented for events should you find a need.

FOREWARN is a new member benefit at MAAR that will be released to agents in about a week. It's currently in preview for brokers; we're taking it for a test drive with training for agents coming soon! This is a protective safety and lead intelligence tool being provided at no additional charge for our members. The FOREWARN application gives an agent the ability to safely verify prospects (while not being exposed to any protected class information) with instant insight within seconds on a prospective client using only a phone number or name. With fraud and violence on the rise, we need this extra layer of protection.

FAR BEYOND all the technical updates and goodness, I'm delighted with the fresh energy and camaraderie between MAAR and BR®. This connection can only bless us all. In March of this year, members from both boards were invited to REALTORFEST on the Causeway and it was a great success. In March 2024, we are partnering to bring you ECON 2024 at the Lodge at Gulf State Park. We're in final staging for REMINE dual entry now and there's more to come.
