NEWS FLASH! Congress is arguing.

If the government does not pass stopgap spending measures by the end of this fiscal year on Saturday at midnight (9/30), beginning on Sunday, October 1, a government shutdown of "non-essential" services will begin. The United States has had 14 similar shutdowns since 1980 and the most recent was in 2018-2019, and it was the longest at 34 days. We have had 22 shutdowns in the last 50 years. At least we have survived these before, but there are some things us real estate warriors need to know:

There's no need to calendar anything. I mean, you'll just do things as you remember! You know what you're doing. You're managing just fine. Ish. What if you schedule your week and then don't feel like doing any of the things? It's true that your business is down – fewer listings – fewer buyers – but hey – that's the fault of the market. It's a smidge slower and those interest rates! Ridiculous! No wonder your business isn't exactly in a meteoric rise right now . . .
 
UNLESS . . . there actually ARE things you could be doing differently.
 
PERHAPS . . . instead of despairing, you could try a different course of action.
 
Where to start? Start with your calendar! Jot a few things down and try some of the things top producers are already doing. Are you interested in knowing the secrets to their success?

"There can be no change without action," is one of the truest statements ever said.

You must do something for your life to change. If you do not put action toward making a change, nothing happens. We could fast forward a year or two and your life would be the same.

Let's face it, we all only have 24 hours in a day. The only difference between some of us is our ability to focus in those 24 hours. For most modern humans, with more distractions than any other time in history, focusing can be the single hardest thing for us to do.

What is focus? It is the act of saying 'yes' to one thing while saying 'no' to everything else.

It is simply saying 'yes' to sitting down and working on your marketing (for example) for an allotted amount of time and saying 'no'...
