Roughly two years ago I was at an event where Andy Andrews was the guest speaker. Many of us have heard him tell his story of the importance of your actions and their profound effect on others around you. What you say and do matters. 

Taken from one of the reviews on Amazon of The Butterfly Effect written by Andy Andrews, "The idea is that good, seemingly small things that we do cause a ripple like effect . . . resulting in some amazing outcomes as our influence touches others lives, who then affect others for good and it goes on." In the story, a caring couple saves a baby from rough kidnappers some 200 years ago which leads to saving 2 billion people from starving 150 years later. Wait, WHAT???? If you don't know the story, you should read the book.

Do you hate it? Or, like me, do you LOVE it?!

I know. It's kind of "hip" these days to mean-mug it when you hear someone talking about social media, but I've gotta be honest . . . I love you guys and I enjoy almost all of it! I love seeing your life unfold and it makes my day to cheer you on! I actually do enjoy seeing your kids doing all the things at every stage of life. I like seeing what you're cooking or where you're eating out. Sometimes your spouse or significant other may post a photo of you, or say something, that makes me think in ways I never did! You inspire me with the things you say, the people you quote and the way you live. Often you make me laugh! Sometimes I cry. I pray whenever you post that you need it. OK, made you look. This year has been a little slower than the last few, and there are many reasons for that. However, there are even MORE reasons to give us hope for near-term improvements. There is so much positive news out there about the economy, the slowing of inflation, employment news . . . but, is anyone seeing it? Are you seeing it?

Last week's Summer Celebration event was a lot of fun and exciting on several levels. One specific exciting new piece of information was our NEW messaging strategy and logo extender, Expert Real Estate Advisors, that can be used in our marketing efforts.
 
This new messaging is not just a catchy new phrase that is intended to make us feel important, it is a reminder that as Bellator REALTORS®, we have set a higher standard for ourselves.
