It has always amazed me that "most" REALTORS® think that they do not need a business plan. "Most" think, I will just do what I did this year. This thought process could not be farther from the truth, especially when there are signs of a change in the market.
So, why do YOU need a business plan? Let's start with the basics . . .
What is a business plan? A business plan is a written document outlining what YOU plan to do as a business / business owner and how YOU plan to do it in a specific way. The best part of a business plan is that it provides a guide, and it can be modified at any time.
Here some valid reasons why YOU need a business plan:
So, what do YOU do now? First, DO NOT MAKE THIS COMPLICATED or YOU will never use it as it is intended.
Secondly, find a business plan format that is comfortable to/for YOU. The more comfortable the format the more YOU will engage and use it as it is intended to be used, referenced at least bi-monthly so you can adjust as needed.
So, how do YOU find a format that is comfortable to YOU? GOOGLE BUSINESS PLANS! It's just that easy.
