It is possible to "know" someone for years and never actually know them; to miss entirely what makes them tick and to think they must have had some kind of magical life that you have not enjoyed. It's almost never true. If you know Monica Alidor, Mobile's Admin., you may have wondered about her happy heart! She's one of the funniest people I've ever met, and her spirit reverberates throughout our office. I can tell you, on a personal level, as I've walked through the grief of my son's passing in March 2021, Monica's spirit has often lightened my heart. She's helped me laugh and live! She is my teammate and my friend in every way, and I've often said that if she decides to retire, I'm going to need a minimum of a 24-month notice...so I can figure out how to retire with her! The constant chatter surrounding the volatility of interest rates, increased days on market and whatnot, has more than a few of us concerned about what lies ahead. Vendors we hadn't seen in quite a while are now beating down our doors to get into a sales meeting and speak to agents. Plenty of sellers still want to sell high and some buyers are scared of changing rates.

You know the issues; I want to remind you of the solutions.

  1. Get back to basics. What are the basics for a Ninja?
  • Pay attention to your mindset: Practice gratitude first thing in the morning & throughout the day. Remember that your brain & your spirit need to hear you say positive, wonderful things OUT LOUD. Don't just think grateful thoughts; SAY grateful things.

As Bellator agents, Ninja-Selling concepts guide our daily attitudes and actions. We've learned how to have the life and business we want; we know a balanced life is possible and we're going after it! I have no idea who first said, "What you focus on expands," but I believe it's 100% true. I also believe that focus is more difficult now than at any other time in history. How can we do it? We ABSOUTELY CAN.
 
FOCUS: Keep teaching, keep encouraging podcasts playing, make reading important books a priority, and surround yourself with colleagues and friends who are also goals-oriented and faith-based. It will play a huge part in winning in these great days.

Early yesterday morning, Monica and I were chatting about the day and beginning to work when we heard it. Yep, pretty sure that was a turkey call. Coming from down the hall, in a proper real estate office. Jeremy is in the building!


A couple weeks ago, I noticed a new sign on an agent's door advertising ice baths for a dollar. Prepaid only. No refunds. Shane keeps us laughing.


From time to time a cheery female voice calls out as the front door chimes. The voice says, "Hellooooo!" I used to hurry from wherever I might be in the building to greet our guest! Nope. That's just Jared. He got me again. Now when the door chimes or someone calls out a greeting, I ignore it completely. Probably just Jared. Usually, I'm right. . .
