Hello Bellator Team! I hope you all have had a great week and a great start to 2024. Congrats to all of you for an impressive 2023 despite some pretty big challenges. Thanks to our leadership and staff for outstanding awards ceremonies this week with fantastic news for the company. It's great to know that we're backed up by folks at the very top who are willing to work to invest in us, as agents. Just know that Bellator is, and always will be, focused on how to help improve our agents and their businesses.
All indications point to 2024 having more activity than 2023 - but, you never really know in this business. The key is to

For most of you who've been with Bellator a while, you know the importance of starting each day with a positive mindset. It is necessary for a productive workday in our field and just good practice to help you have a more joyful life. Everything starts from this mindset, so I figured the beginning of the year was a good time to re-focus on this vital aspect of YOUR business.
We all know the value of staying in flow with our SOI, and THE most important flow activities are face-to-face meetings and personal phone calls. In order to make these interactions as productive (and fun) as possible, a positive mindset is crucial. And as you know, talking to or even being around someone who is always "doom and gloom", complaining and looking for things in life to be offended by, is not enjoyable. That mindset repels most people, not attracts. Some of us are more naturally positive t...

Happy Friday all! I hope you all are having a great week and are in the process of preparing to make 2024 the best year you've ever had in Real Estate. If you've read my posts before, you know that I pretty much preach what I practice. This is another of those posts and I hope some of you get something from it that'll help with your business. I also realize that I don't have all the answers and that many of you do this better than I do. I always appreciate any feedback that you may have to offer!
For my business, I'm trying to complete prep for 2024 by 12/22/23 and I plan on taking three days off at Thanksgiving. There are only 31 days left until, effectively, the end of the year. (Please reference back to my broker bit from about a month ago for step-by-step details of what I'm doing to prepare.

As most of you know, I'm the qualifying broker of our Fairhope office and I'm also an active selling agent. The information that I go over in my weekly meetings and share with all of you on these broker bits is typically based on what I'm currently doing for my real estate business. I openly share my successes, failures and new ideas. Many of you are much better than I am in this business, so I appreciate any feedback or suggestions. This is just my "two cents".
Real quick, our job as Realtors® is very straightforward:
1) Become excellent at your job and maintain that excellence so you can exceed your clients' and customers' expectations when they call upon you to help with, often, the largest investment of their lives. (Take this obligation very seriously or consider referring to another agent who takes the time and effort to be excellen...

My good friend and esteemed ESHO broker, David Horn, visited our weekly meeting this past Tuesday. Did he bring food, donuts, snacks or even shower beforehand? He did not. But, he did bring a great reminder and good information about our Referral and Relocation Program that he heads up thorough our affiliation with Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® (LRE). Seriously - if you've never sent an outgoing referral to relocation@gobellator.com, then you are really foregoing a free European vacation, a boat, or college tuition every year. Let's fix that.
In real estate, even when you're doing everything right, you will encounter slow weeks, or months, throughout the year. T...
